She doesn't seem to be ready for prime time, and she has the same extreamist views that were offered to, and (at the national level) rejected by, the Republicans by Huckabee.

Re: Does Palin Balance the Equation?

Pretty much...yep.

Re: Does Palin Balance the Equation?

I write this as a strong Obama supporter...the Dems could find a way to lose this election. There really was no way they should have lost 2004 (and really they didn't lose 2000 - but that's another story), but they did and they could screw this up too. I personally don't think they will (and I really hope they do not), but until they come out with a solid electoral showing in Nov, I will wait with some measure of anxiety...

Re: Does Palin Balance the Equation?

I agree it's a poker move. I just wonder if McCain did not show his had a little too hastily. That's why I am interested to see how it plays out - especially next week.

Re: Does Palin Balance the Equation?

It's a poker move. if Obama blinks, he's out...

Re: Does Palin Balance the Equation?

#4 was a really interesting question that I hadn't thought of.
