Oh goodness me. When he says "bridge between God and man" he means.. Jesus is way through which us humans can reach to the Father and the Father can reach to us. He established the way by dying on the cross for us. Of course Jesus is God! And He is the only way to Heaven. Obama didn't say "He is half God and half man" or anything like that!

If Barack Obama was a True Christian ( Meaning , if he really believe Christ is his Savior) Hw would have had no problem Stating so. Barack Obama is NOT a Christian, He adopted Christianity as a Label to be more accepted, more " Electable". Pretty much to say He is not a Muslim, He says he is a Christian...... Sad but True.

I DONOT KNOW WHETHER BARAK OBAMA IS A REAL CHRISTIAN OR NOT BUT I KNOW FOR SURE THAT PEOPLE OF AMERICA KNEW BEFORE THEY GAVE THEIR PRECIOUS VOTES TO OBAMA TO MAKE HIM THEIR PRESIDENT THAT WHETHER HE IS A REAL CHRIATION OR NOR BUT WHEN THEY HAE CHOSEN HIM, SO NOW THEY HAVE TO BEAR THE CONSEQUENSES.
BECAUSE IF HE IS A REAL CHRISTIAN THE CHRISTIANITY AND COUNTRY AMERICA WILL GO TO A DIFFERENT HEIGHT OF SUCCESS OTHERWISE WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEE POVERTY GROWING IN SUCH A POWERFUL COUNTRY LIKE AMERICA........................

Virtue is hard to maintain in Washington. Many who had it have lost it. Many who did not have it only became more corrupt. That's why I tend to follow the various libertarian watchdogs and the GAO to see what's doing under the hood so to speak. The people need not to be afraid to hold their leaders accountable, something that has not been possible with the current administration.

This sounds like a theological inquisition to me. Did anyone question Reagain about how many angeles there are dancing on the head of a pin?

The guy is a lawyer, not a seminary student. Its enough for him to go to church once in a while. The inquistors should shut up.

This is something I am still pondering. The Easter sermon given by the new pastor to Obama's former church mentioned nothing of the resurrection. Do they believe Jesus is the Son of God, alive in heaven, and that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord? And what is the nature of this salvation? Obama's language is still a bit ambiguous, because it leaves room for Jesus just being another dead man and the cross just a metaphor. I would like to hear more from Obama on this subject.

It's also theologically consistent with that diagram they taught me when I volunteered for the Billy Graham crusade in high school. (God on the one side of the mountain and people on the other with a valley of sin in the middle. The cross makes the bridge.)
