As a Christian some of the questions I would ask of the stories are:

- What do they teach?
- Some characters have superhuman/supernatural power are these from God?
- How do they portray authority figures (Parents, Pastors, Teachers, etc...)?

These are also the questions I am teaching my children to ask, to varying degrees there is a spiritual side to everything. Don't stumble blindly accepting the views and teachings of every good author but line it up against the word of God and check that it fits!

Re: Roald Dahl's Unique Take on Good v.
