In April 296,000 jobs created, new home sales up, the Dow until recently over 11,000 Chrysler, GM, Ford all making a profit for the first time in years and expanding production. Obama, as has been shown here, accomplished a great deal when he was in the Senate unlike MCain. As a Marine Veteran myself ( and that includes combat duty in two wars) I know that as a prisoner of war he violated at least two of the articles of the code of conduct for P.O.W's , the Keating savings and loan scandal whichhe was involved up to his neck in and on and on

Hannity has never said Obama has accomplished nothing, he just asks repeatedly "what has he accomplished?" and the majority of his voters cannot give an answer.

You are right about the flag waving at Huff Post - whatever happened to taking the high ground? but Fox is actually evil. They deliberately set out to do harm. Did you see the clip of Fox commentators cheerleadng about the tactical genius of McCain's "suspending" his campaign? Genuinely surreal. Hannity is the worst, of course. I do not know how they sleep at night.

Congrats on having a MUCH higher tolerance level than I do. No WAY could I take more than 5 minutes of Hannity... As far as the lying goes, it's troubling how much of this stuff is spreading from the RW talk stations, to the mouths of the people, and eventually into the campaigns themselves. Even John McCain is trying to gain traction with the tax-hike lies...

I'd say that voting the liars out would solve the problem, but Rush became the RW icon he is today when Clinton was in the White House... All we can hope is that President Obama will not only bring about the same level of economic security and relative peace that Clinton did, and avoid cheating on his wife... Maybe if he's better-than-human these talking heads will finally go away...

Somehow, I doubt it though...

The claim that Obama has done little during his time in the Senate seems to be one of the milder lies that people have succumbed to... I had someone try to tell me that he has been bought out by Muslim extremists. This same person also made the claim that every time the U.S. criticizes Israel or voices disapproval of their actions, we're hit by a natural disaster or the stock market plunges; both of which are, of course, punishments from God. I can honestly say that I was at a loss for words. Are people really so credulous?
